Did you know it was a great day to be a dog! I mean really what day isn’t a great day to be a dog! As a pet owner I have come to love and respect my dog as a member of the family. However, unlike the more vocal members of my family (aka my kids), sometimes my poor pooch gets a little left out! So last week we decided that we were going to pamper our sweet little pup and give her a day for just her!
So of course we had to go shopping! We stocked up on all kinds of dog treats, from Milk Bones, to Milo’s Homestyle Kitchen treats and more!
I love these new Milo’s Kitchen treats! They look like real food and our pooch really seems to love them too.
We can’t have a pampered pet with out some new toys. Now which toy can I buy that she won’t destroy in 10 minutes?
Now it was time to pamper the pooch! Leela is a Husky mix and this time of year she really starts to get a little hairy and it ends up all over my house. So my hubby took her out back and gave her a good brushing! She LOVES to be brushed and I love to see all that loose hair fly through the backyard and not stuck to my couches! Then it was treat time!
Leela couldn’t decide which snacks looked the best! The Milo’s, the Milk Bone Trail Mix, or the Pup-peroni sticks!!
She decided that the Milo’s Kitchen chicken strips were going to be her snack of choice and I have to say I don’t blame her! They looked almost good enough for me to eat! Grilled strips of chicken!!
She was almost unsure about the treats at first. I think she thought they were people food and she wasn’t sure if she was allowed to eat them! But she loved them! She loved them so much that she decided to guard them!
Milo’s Kitchen snacks will definitely be a new staple in our house and a great way to pamper our little pooch!

Your dog is beautiful! I miss our dog
. The manager of our trailer park made us get rid of him four days before Christmas. Try telling your three kids that their puppy is leaving right before Christmas! It was absolutely heart breaking, and the manager didn’t even care! We’ll be moving next year to a place where the landlord or manager, (or maybe even buy a place), doesn’t tell us we can have a dog, and then take it back… UGH!

I pamper my moms dog, and sometimes my nieces dog. I don’t do well with live in pets. I buy their dogs outrages gifts, and treats and whatever I fancy for them. They appreciate it and I give them love and leave them with their owners. This way, we all benefit.
