The only thing I love more than cooking, is being able to cook with my kids. The problem is that sometimes my cooking utensils are just too clunky or big for their small hands. That is why I was excited when I discovered Curious Chef while I was at the International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago this past spring.
We received the Measure and Prep Kit from Curious Chef. The kit came with 3 small prep bowls, a set of measuring spoons, a set of measuring cups, an egg timer and a mixing spoon. One of my favorite things about this set is that the measuring spoons and cups don’t just come in the standard measurements, they add additional ones like 2/3 cup to the set. This made cooking with the kids a little less stressful for me and in turn more enjoyable for them.
My 6 year old was very excited to get to using this kit! We decided to make some Chocolate chip cookies!
Brayden found the measuring tools very simple to handle and easy to use. They also have very bright and clear measurements on them. Unlike many of my stainless steel tools where even I have to squint to find out what measuring cup I have!
Curious Chef has an entire website full of great kitchen tools for kids! They even sell a nylon knife set that is just right for little fingers. Although I must say that the cake decorating kit may be next on my list!
The wonderful folks at Curious Chef are letting me giveaway this Measure and Prep Kit to one of my readers! Entry is simple. Just fill out the Rafflecopter form below!
