In The Kitchen – Architec Kitchen Essentials Review and Giveaway

This summer has been full of fun and family, and with this came a lot of time in the kitchen and a lot of cooking!

I recently received a few items from Architec to test out for my summer parties!  I was sent a Mini Potumus Flex Cutting Board, a Recipe Rock (this thing ROCKS) and a Polyflax and Polypaper Serving Bowl and Spoons.

Lets start out with the Serving Bowl and Spoons.  I love these because while they look and clean like plastic they are actually made from a combination of translucent Poly Propylene and flax husk.  This gives the bowl a very interesting finish!

Architec Products Polyflax Serving Bowl

The first thing that I noticed is how LARGE the bowl is.  I made a salad for a party of 20 people and this bowl was MORE than big enough to accommodate my salad with room to spare.  I have also grown very fond of using the spoons when I cook. Because of their finish it is almost impossible to get anything to stick to it.  We eat a lot of rice in our house and this has become the go to spoon when serving rice!

Strawberry Salad

The bowl wasn’t the only thing that I used to make this salad.  The great little flex cutting board was a life saver.  The first thing that I liked was the size of the board.  Usually when I am cutting things in the kitchen I have to drag out my big cutting board and they scoop up everything I cut to get it into my bow.

Flex Cutting Board and Recipe Rock

This little board was great for cutting my strawberries and then picking up and moving them right into the bowl.  Now this is not a cutting board that I will use for every cooking experience, but it definitely works great for the small jobs!

Now I’m not sure if you can tell from the picture but this little Recipe Rock is AWESOME!!  How many times have you been in the kitchen working from a recipe that you printed from the computer just to find yourself putting the paper right into some water that you spilled on the counter?  This little rock is going to save all of your recipes to be used another day!  This little “rock” has a small piece of metal and a powerful little ball magnet on the front.  It holds your paper upright and will hold up to 10 pieces of paper!

You can check out everything that is happening with Architec by visiting their Facebook page!

I can’t tell you about all this wonderful kitchen stuff without giving you the opportunity to win some of them!
