As a mom of three young boys I am always trying to come up with fun and different ideas for dinner. More than just the usual sit down with a fork and knife, eat your protein, veggie, and grain. While I do want them to have a well balanced dinner I also want to make it more casual and a little more fun for them too!
One of the ways that we do this is by having a dinner FULL of finger foods! Lots and lots of finger foods! While only one of my boys is much of a dipper I am slowly helping my oldest learn to joys of dipping his food! Kraft has come out with a great line of Anything Dressing and it was a great way to play with our food a little!
I was shocked at what kind of dressing I was able to find at my local Walmart! I don’t remember the last time I saw such a selection of different kinds of dressings!! Everything from the standards (Ranch and French) to some VERY unusual, like Green Goddess and Mango Chipotle!
I was able to get my fingers on some nice big shrimp, some mozzarella sticks yummy fries, and even some broccoli and cauliflower (needed to have some green!). And then it was time to get ready for dipping!
I knew that I was going to make some coconut shrimp for dinner and I love to dip my coconut shrimp into a nice sweet dip. While Honey mustard is sweet it needed a little more citrus to be just right!
I was able to make a super yummy and delisious dip for our shrimp with just 2 simple ingredients!
Honey Mustard with Chipotle Kraft Anything Dressing and 1/4 cup of chopped pineapple drained.
If you have never had coconut shrimp with Pineapple Dipping sauce again you should DEFINITELY try it out!
